What do You Believe?

Do you think America is a great country? What is it about this country that you believe makes it great? Perhaps it is our unparalleled opportunity to succeed, to better oneself through honest hard work and application of God-given abilities. Maybe it's the availability of educational opportunities all the way up to universities that are the envy of the world. How about the ability to travel, to live, work, visit anywhere in our country anytime you please? These and dozens of other reasons can be cited to show America is unique among all other nations of the world, a truly great country like no other. Do you believe that? Do you believe the citizens of this country should do everything they can to keep it that way? We at the Constitution Party surely do.

Sadly, it seems many people in our nation today have lost that vision. Some feel that it's wrong for us to be the best, that we should just try to blend in and be like other countries in the world, lest we somehow antagonize others or make them jealous. Some people believe that America is in terminal decline, that we are no longer the shining city on the hill, a beacon of hope and liberty to the world. Most frighteningly, there are some in this country actively working to bring these things about, and others seem willing to just sit still and let it happen.

We in the Constitution Party don't believe that for a minute. We will not sit still and let it happen, and we will work to stop those who are trying to tear us down. We are ordinary men and women from all walks of life, just like you. We are not superhuman; we do what we can. We give our time, our money, our strength and skills to advance the causes of individual liberty, individual rights and individual worth that made, and will keep, our country great. And we can't do it alone. We need all the help we can get from all like-minded people. We must change the culture of politics and government in this country very soon, or the indifferent and the destroyers will win. It's that simple.

If you believe that to achieve a benefit, one must work and sacrifice, join us. If you believe that our American values are right and worth preserving, join us. If you are willing to stand for these values in the public forum, join us. It won't be easy, and it won't be fast. Nothing truly worth having ever is. But you have to take the most important step; that is, to decide to stand up and pitch in. And to make that decision, you must ask yourself just one basic question:

What do you believe?
